Bonapartes Cafe

So, we are over at Bonapartes Cafe, tucked into B 27 in the Sanskrut Bungalows area. Being right by the Gandhinagar Highway means we see a lot of different faces every single day. Some people are just passing through Sabarmati, while others live right here in the bungalows and stop in for their regular cup. It's a pretty simple setup we have here in Ahmedabad. We didn’t want anything too loud or over the top. Most days it’s just us making sure the tables are wiped down and the coffee is hot. Sometimes the milk delivery is a bit late, which can be a headache, but we manage. The sun hits the front window pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually pull the shades down then. It's not a huge place, just a few tables and a counter where we keep the snacks. We’ve lived around here for a long time, so we know the neighborhood well. It gets a bit dusty with the highway traffic so close, but that’s just how it is. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the regulars about whatever is going on. There isn't a big corporate team here, just a couple of us working the shifts and trying to keep everything running okay. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just providing a spot for people to sit for a minute. We like it this way.
