Shiv Parotha House

We have been here at the ground floor of Mangalya Complex for quite some time now. Ashram Road gets really busy, especially with everything happening around Navrangpura. We are just a small spot near Dinesh Hall. Most days start early with the stove getting hot and the dough being ready for the day. People stop by when they are heading to work or just walking through the area. It’s not a big fancy place, just some tables and chairs where you can sit and eat. We make the parothas right there, and you can smell the oil and spices from the street. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the lunch hour, and we have to move fast to keep up with everyone. It’s mostly locals who know we are here. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the shop front that has been the same for years. It’s a lot of work staying on your feet all day, but that is how it goes here. We see the same faces every week, mostly office folks or students looking for a quick meal that fills them up. The traffic outside never really stops, so there is always noise from the road coming in. We just keep the kitchen going and make sure there’s enough for everyone who walks in. It’s a simple life running a food place in this part of Ahmedabad. We don't do anything special, just the usual routine every single day.
