Shiv Enterprises (Vegetable Market)

Our shop is right in the middle of the Dhalgarwad Vegetable Market in Manek Chowk. You can find us right opposite Bhagubhai's Vando. Being in this part of Ahmedabad means things start very early. We are usually here before the sun comes up to get the fresh vegetables sorted and ready for the day. It’s a very crowded area, 380001 is always buzzing with people and carts. We don't have a quiet moment until late in the afternoon. The market is full of noise and smells, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. We mostly deal with the regular vegetables that everyone needs for their daily cooking. It’s a simple business, buying from the bigger traders and selling to the people who walk through the market. Our space is small and packed with crates of produce. Sometimes the rain makes the market floor a bit messy, but that’s just how it goes in an open market. We don't have a website or any of that, just our spot here in Manek Chowk. People know us because we’ve been standing in the same place for years. It’s hard work on your feet all day, but it’s how we make our living. Just a regular vegetable stall among many others in the Dhalgarwad area. We keep the vegetables as fresh as we can for the locals who come by to shop. Market life is tough.
