Our place is over at 21/5 Dwarkesh Society, which is on Thakkarnagar Road. If you know where Sahajanand Hospital is, we are pretty close to that. It’s a bit of a different vibe being near a hospital and in a society area like Thakkarbapa Nagar. It feels a bit more like a community than just a business district. At Shiv Creation, we have our setup in a space that used to be a lot quieter years ago. Now, the road is always packed. We see a lot of people walking by on their way to the hospital or the local markets. The workspace is where we spend most of our hours, surrounded by needles, thread, and piles of material. It’s not a polished corporate office. There are threads on the floor and tea stains on the side tables. We have a small window that lets in some light, but mostly we rely on the overhead tubes. It gets a bit stuffy when we have a lot of work going on, so the fan is always on high. We know most of the people who live in Dwarkesh Society, so we end up chatting a lot during the day. It’s a nice way to work, feeling like part of the neighborhood. We just do our thing, handle the stitching, and make sure the customers get what they asked for without any fuss.
