If you go down to the Ocean Park Basement on Satellite Road, that is where you’ll find Sharda Granite & Marbles Pvt Ltd. We are pretty close to the Nehrunagar Cross Roads. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice when the weather gets hot in Satellite. It’s a busy part of the city, so there is always noise from the traffic at the cross roads. We have been here long enough that the local shopkeepers all know us. We deal with a lot of granite and marble, and since we are in the basement, we have to be careful about how we move things in and out. It’s not the biggest space, but we make it work by keeping everything organized. Most of the time, we are just busy with the inventory or talking to someone who walked in off Satellite Road. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just a few of us who know about stone. Sometimes the lighting down here isn't the best, so we often take pieces outside to the light so people can see the real color of the granite. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, but it’s worth it to get the look right. We’ve been part of the Satellite community for years now and don't plan on going anywhere. It is just a practical place to run a business.
