Shanti Trading Corporation

Our office is on the first floor of the Rushika Complex. We are located near Dinesh Hall on Ashram Road. It’s a pretty well-known area, so people don’t usually have too much trouble finding Shanti Trading Corporation. The building is a bit older, and the stairs are a little narrow. Once you get up to the first floor, we are right there. It’s a basic office setup. We’ve got some metal cupboards for files and a few workstations. We spend our time trading, which means lots of phone calls and checking prices. Ashram Road is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of traffic coming through the windows. We have a small window that looks out over the street. Sometimes we just watch the cars for a minute when things get slow. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us who have worked together for years. We don't have any fancy slogans. We just try to keep our customers happy and our records straight. It’s a simple, honest business. We take our lunch breaks together when we can. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. That’s just life here. There's an old clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly. It's the heartbeat of the office. We've got a stack of newspapers to recycle.
