Saurashtra Cement Ltd.

In Ahmedabad, our office for Saurashtra Cement Ltd. is located in the Ambawadi area. We are at 2/11, Gandhipark. If you are near Sahajanand College, you are basically right there. This part of Ahmedabad is quite nice because it has a lot of trees and it feels a bit more settled than the newer parts of the city. The office is in a residential-style building in Gandhipark, which makes it feel less like a cold corporate environment. We have a small team here handling the cement business. Most of our day is spent coordinating between the factory and the various dealers around the city. It’s not a flashy place; we just have our desks, some filing cabinets, and a small area where we can sit and have a cup of chai. The college nearby means there are always students walking around, which keeps the energy up in the neighborhood. We have been here for a good while, so we know the local shops and the people around us. It is a straightforward operation. We don't believe in having a lot of unnecessary meetings; we just get on with the work that needs to be done. The internet can be a bit slow some days, but we manage. That is really all there is to our life here at the Ambawadi office.
