Near Nehru Nagar Circle. Traffic is always bad there. Our place is over at Ocean Park. We deal with big slabs of granite and marble. It’s heavy work. The guys have to be careful moving things so nothing cracks. It’s a lot of stone everywhere. The showroom isn't huge but we have enough samples. Satellite Road is always busy. Sometimes customers have a hard time finding a place to park. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the slabs. Granite looks better when it’s clean. Marble is softer. You have to handle it differently. People come in looking for stuff for their kitchens or floors. We show them what we have in the back. The neighborhood has changed a lot lately. More shops and more people. It used to be quieter near Nehru Nagar. Now it’s just constant noise. We start early before the heat gets too bad. Moving stone in the afternoon is tough. We have a small desk where we do the paperwork. It’s mostly just us and the stones. We don't do anything fancy. Just sell the slabs as they are. Sometimes we have to wait a long time for the trucks to arrive from the quarries. That’s just how it goes in this business. We try to keep things organized but it's hard with so much weight around. We have a lot of different patterns if you look closely. It's just a stone yard really and we keep it running every day.
