You can find us on the second floor of the New Cloth Market at No. 213. Being on the second floor means we carry a lot of heavy rolls up the stairs, which keeps everyone tired but strong. The market is a noisy place, especially in the afternoons when all the traders are out. We’ve been in this unit for quite some time, and it’s packed with different types of cloth from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it is hard to walk through the aisles because we have so much stock arriving. We don’t really have a front desk or a waiting area. Most people just walk in and we start talking about what they need right there among the fabrics. It is a simple setup. We spend our days checking quality and cutting pieces for different customers who stop by. The ventilation isn't the best, so it gets a bit warm during the summer months. We just open the windows and keep going. Most of our neighbors in the market have been here as long as we have, so we all know each other. It’s a regular grind of buying, selling, and moving goods. We don't use any fancy systems to track things, just old notebooks and memory. It works well enough for us. Every day is pretty much the same, just keeping the mill running and the customers satisfied.
