Ambica Textile Industries

Ambica Textile Industries can be found at the Ashapura Industrial Estate, specifically units 72, 73, and 74. Being in Phase 4 of GIDC Vatva means there is constant movement around us. Trucks, tempo drivers, and workers on bicycles are everywhere. The noise from the machines is pretty much constant from Monday to Saturday. We handle a lot of textile work, so the air is always thick with the smell of fabric and whatever processes are running that day. The floors are concrete and usually have scraps of thread or cloth scattered around. We try to keep it organized, but when things are busy, it’s hard to stay on top of the mess. The gates stay open most of the day because there’s always something being loaded or unloaded. Our office is just a small room partitioned off from the main shed. It’s nothing special, just a desk and some old chairs for when the suppliers come to settle their bills. We get a lot of dust from the road because of all the construction nearby. Sometimes the drainage in Vatva acts up during the monsoon and we have to watch the entrances so water doesn't get in. But we’ve been here long enough to know how to handle the local quirks. It’s just a regular industrial unit doing what it’s supposed to do. We keep our heads down and focus on the daily production schedule without making any big fuss.
