Our office is up on the upper floor of Kalyan Tower. It’s tucked right behind the Lake View Apartments in Vastrapur. If you know where the Jaysomnath Apartment is, then we’re right near there. We deal with baby products. It’s a busy business because, well, babies always seem to need more stuff. We’ve got piles of boxes and samples everywhere in the office. It’s not the most organized-looking place you’ve ever seen, but we know where everything is kept. Running a private limited company for baby items means we have to be careful about what we stock. We spend a lot of our time talking to suppliers and checking the quality of things like bottles, toys, and clothes. Vastrapur is a good area to be in, though parking near Kalyan Tower can be a total nightmare during the middle of the day. We’ve been here for a few years now. The team is small, just a handful of us who’ve been working together for a long time. We mostly handle the wholesale side of things, so it’s more about phone calls and logistics than having a fancy showroom for people to walk through. Sometimes parents stop by thinking we’re a retail shop, and we try to help them out if we have what they need. It gets pretty loud in the office when the phones are all ringing at once. We take our lunch breaks together when things finally quiet down. It’s a simple operation, really. We just focus on getting the right products to the stores that sell them to families.
