Sanket Textile

Sanket Textile is based over in Sabarmati, specifically at 38 Manibhadra on Rambaug Road. It’s a local neighborhood and we’ve been part of it for a while now. The area is usually quite busy with people going about their daily business, and we are just one of the many small businesses along this stretch. Our building is easy enough to spot once you get onto Rambaug Road. We deal with textiles, which means our day is mostly filled with checking rolls of fabric and talking to suppliers. The space inside is practical. We have shelves lining the walls and a large table in the middle where we do most of the work. It’s not the quietest place because of the traffic outside, but you get used to the sound of scooters and horns after a few days. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure things run smoothly. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to reorganize the back room, though it never stays organized for long. We just try to be honest about what we can do and get the work finished on time. It’s a straightforward life here in Sabarmati. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the regulars who pass by the shop every morning. It feels like a real community where everyone knows everyone else’s business.
