Sandhya Tea

Our little spot for Sandhya Tea is right there in Vastrapur. If you've ever been to Alpha Mall, you've probably passed by our area a hundred times. It’s a lively part of the district, always something going on with the shoppers and the cars. We deal with tea every single day, and honestly, the smell of it is something you never really get tired of. We aren't a big fancy showroom. It’s more of a practical place where we keep the bags and handle the orders. My uncle used to say that tea is what keeps the country running, and looking at how many people come by, he wasn't wrong. We spend a lot of time checking the leaves and making sure everything is stored right so it doesn't get ruined by the humidity. The weather here can be a bit much sometimes, especially in the summer months, but the shop stays relatively cool inside because of the way it’s built. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the business well. We talk to the suppliers, we talk to the people who buy from us, and that’s about it. There’s no complicated philosophy behind what we do. We just sell tea from our location here in Vastrapur. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the mall traffic, which can be a real headache, but we manage. It's a decent living and we like being part of the local scene.
