Safar Retreat

We are located in the Russian Apartments, right in the lane where Choice Restaurant is. This is the C G Road area of Ahmedabad, so it’s right in the thick of things. Even though it’s a busy part of town, our spot in the lane is a bit more tucked away. We are opposite the Crown Plaza hotel. It’s a small place, not one of those big chain establishments. We spend our days managing the rooms and helping guests who are visiting the city. Most people come here because they want to be close to the shops and offices on C G Road without being right on the main noisy road. The building is older, but it has its own character. We do the maintenance ourselves mostly, keeping things tidy and functional. It’s not a high-pressure environment here. We have a few staff members who have been with us for years, and we just go about our business. Sometimes people get lost looking for the entrance since it’s in the lane, but we usually tell them to look for the landmark restaurants nearby. It’s a practical choice for anyone who needs to stay in this part of Ahmedabad. We don't have flashy signs or anything like that. It’s just a straightforward place to stay and we try to treat everyone fairly who walks through our door. The laundry is usually going and someone is usually at the desk waiting for the next check-in.
