Rr Textile House

Our shop is number 14 in the Sumel 3 building, right by Raipur Darwaja. We are directly across from the New Cloth Market here in Ahmedabad. It is a very old and established part of the city for the textile trade. If you go to the Raipur Gate area, everyone knows exactly where the market is. We have been part of this textile house for some time. The shop is filled with various fabrics from the floor all the way to the ceiling. It always smells like new cloth and a bit of dust, which is something you get used to very quickly. We do not really have a big staff. It is mostly just family members and a couple of helpers who have been with us for years. We deal with all sorts of customers, from small shop owners to individuals looking for specific materials for a dress. It is a loud neighborhood with a lot of shouting and horns honking outside in the street. Inside, we just focus on the measurements and getting the bills right. We do not have a website or any fancy brochures to hand out. People know us because we have been in the same spot for such a long time. We use old wooden tables for cutting the cloth and a simple stool for when we need to take a quick break. The stairs in the building are a bit narrow, so moving large bundles can be a struggle. We do not complain about it. It is just part of the job.
