Riverside Barbeque Restaurant

We are located inside the Sarovar Portico Hotel on Bhavans College Road in the Khanpur area. We are right next to the Cama Hotel, so we are easy to find. Our specialty is barbeque and we have been doing it for a while now. The restaurant has a lot of tables and it can get very smoky when the grills are going, but people seem to like that. It is a popular spot for families to come on the weekends. We have a lot of staff running around with skewers and plates of food. It is not a very quiet or romantic place because of all the activity and the noise of the kitchen. Khanpur is an old part of Ahmedabad and the streets around us can be very tight and crowded. We get a mix of people staying in the hotel and locals coming in just for the food. The furniture is heavy and the plates are large because people eat a lot here. We don't have a very complicated way of doing things. We just grill the food and bring it out as fast as we can. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the crowd is too big. It is a busy, working restaurant and we just focus on keeping the grills hot and the customers fed. The nights get loud but we wouldn't have it any other way in this part of the city.
