Rio Restaurant & Banquet

Rio Restaurant & Banquet is located on the first floor of the Devansh building, which is part of the Furaat Inn. Our address is 75 Brahmkshtriya Society, right on Gujarat College Road in the Ellis Bridge area of Ahmedabad. It’s a very busy neighborhood because of the college and all the offices nearby. We have two main parts to what we do. There is the restaurant where people come for a regular meal, and then the banquet hall for events like birthdays or small receptions. Most of our days are spent moving tables around or checking that the air conditioning is running right for the next group. It’s a lot of physical work and the kitchen stays busy from morning until late at night. We aren't a big chain with a polished image. We’re just a local business trying to keep things running smoothly. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a while. We don't use fancy language to describe our food or our service. We just provide a place for people to eat and gather. Ellis Bridge is a central spot, so we see all kinds of people coming through. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when there’s a big party and a full restaurant at the same time, but we manage. We just focus on the task at hand and try to be practical about everything we do. It’s how we’ve always operated the place.
