Rangoli A Colourful Beginning

We are over at 17 Pahelgam Banglows, right across from Aakash Tower in Bodakdev, Ahmedabad. It’s a nice little spot in a bungalow, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a big institution. We work with young kids, doing all the things you’d expect at a preschool or activity center. There’s a lot of color around, which is why the name fits. We spend our time with puzzles, crayons, and teaching the kids their first few letters. Being in Bodakdev means we get a lot of local families coming through. The space isn’t huge, but it’s enough for what we do. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us; we just tell people what we do when they walk in the door. Sometimes the gate squeaks or the garden needs a bit of weeding, but we focus on the kids first. It’s a very practical environment. We have a routine that we follow every day to keep things organized. The staff members are usually busy setting up for the next activity or cleaning up after the last one. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but that’s just the nature of working with little kids in Ahmedabad. It’s a good, honest place. We keep the toys organized and make sure everyone has a turn. It’s a simple way to run a place, and the parents seem to appreciate that we are just regular people.
