You can find Rajeshri Fabrics at Shop No. 63 in Kothari Market. It’s right across from Hira Bhai Market on Diwan Ballubhai Road. This whole area near Sarangpur and Raipur Gate is always bustling with textile trade. We’ve been in this spot for a while, squeezed in among many other shops. Getting here can be a bit of a puzzle if you don't know the shortcuts through the side streets. There’s always someone unloading a truck or a cart blocking the way. Our shop is just a small space filled with different types of fabrics. We spend the morning checking the meters and making sure the cuts are right for the orders. It’s mostly just hard work and being on your feet all day. The walls are lined with rolls of cloth of every kind imaginable. Sometimes it feels like the fabric is taking over the entire room. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the number 63 on the door. It’s a practical place for people who need cloth for their own projects. We see a lot of different faces every day. Some people are in a huge hurry, others want to chat for a bit about the news. We don't mind either way. The heat in Sarangpur can be quite something in the summer, so we keep the water pot full at all times. It’s a basic setup, nothing more than what’s needed to run a small fabric business and keep things moving every single day.
