Radhe Ice Cream Company Gandhinagar

Our place is in the GIDC Estate in Sector 28. It’s an industrial area, so there are lots of factories and warehouses around us. We aren't like a shop in a mall; we are a proper ice cream company where we actually make the stuff. It stays very cold in the storage areas but the rest of the factory gets quite warm in the summer. We spend our days dealing with milk deliveries and making sure the freezers are running perfectly. If the power goes out, we have a big problem on our hands. We’ve been in Gandhinagar for quite some time now. Most of our work is about logistics and getting the tubs out to the shops. It’s a messy job sometimes, with cream and sugar everywhere, but we clean up every evening. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the machines and the recipes we’ve been using for years. The guys working here are mostly locals from the nearby villages. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use those fancy Italian names for our flavors. We just call it what it is so everyone understands. The estate can be dusty, but inside the unit, we keep things as tidy as possible. It’s a lot of heavy lifting with the crates, but that’s just the job. We keep our heads down and work.
