Mother Diary

Mother Diary is located at G/2 in the Rushika Flats, which is right near Kiran Park in Nava Wadaj. It’s a familiar spot for a lot of people in this part of Ahmedabad. We’ve been operating out of this ground-floor space for years. It’s not a big fancy store or anything, just a practical place where we keep everything running. The area around Kiran Park gets quite busy in the evenings with families and kids playing, so there’s always a nice energy outside. Inside, we keep things pretty basic. There are some shelves, a counter, and the usual equipment we need for the day. We don't go in for fancy decorations or expensive lighting. It’s just a place of work. The staff here are mostly local people who live nearby. We know a lot of the customers by face, even if we don't always remember every name. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and get what you need without a lot of fuss. We try to keep the place clean, though the floor gets scuffed up pretty quickly with all the foot traffic. We aren't interested in being some giant corporation. We just want to be a reliable part of the neighborhood. It’s a simple business, and we like it that way. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Some days the delivery trucks are late, and things get a bit stressful, but we manage.
