Jain Ice Cream

We've been at the Dhanlakshmi Complex in Jivraj Park for a while now. Most people know the spot right at the Char Rasta near the 132 Ft Ring Road. It’s just a simple shop where we keep the freezers running and scoop out ice cream for whoever walks in. It gets busy in the evenings when families come by after dinner. Sometimes it's a bit cramped in L-38 but we manage. We don't have fancy seats or anything, just cold treats. People around here in the 380051 area usually stop in while they're out doing errands or heading home. It’s a local place. My cousin helps out behind the counter most days. We try to keep the flavors stocked up so nobody leaves disappointed. It isn't much to look at from the outside, but the ice cream is what matters. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. Dealing with the heat in Ahmedabad means we stay pretty busy most of the year. We just focus on serving the neighborhood and keeping the machines clean. If you're driving down the ring road, you've probably seen our sign. It’s a straightforward business. We don't do anything too complicated here. Just simple cups and cones for the local crowd. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble, but that’s just how it is running a shop. We usually stay open late since that's when the rush happens. It’s a good little spot for the community. We've had some leaky pipes lately, but we're getting those fixed up as we go along.
