Our business is R. K. Garments. Cloth. Tailor. You can find us on the 2nd Floor of Deepkala House. It is right near the Municipal Market on C.G. Road, which is a very busy part of the city. We have been here for quite some time now, and we have seen a lot of changes on the street outside. Our shop is a mix of things—we sell garments and cloth, and we also do tailoring work right here on the premises. Being on the second floor means it is a little quieter than being right on the sidewalk, but you can still hear the honking and the people down at the market. We have a few sewing machines and shelves full of different fabrics. People come in to get their clothes fixed or to have something new made from scratch. It is a small team here, just a couple of us doing the cutting and stitching. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It is just a local tailor shop where we try to do the work right for the people who walk through our door. The stairs up to Deepkala House can be a bit steep, but our regular customers don't seem to mind. We open up in the morning and work until it gets dark. It is just our daily routine, handling the cloth and making sure the garments are ready when we said they would be.
