R K Garments Cloth Tailor is at number 8 in the Shital Varsha building. This is right at the Shivranjani Cross Road in the Satellite area. It is a very well-known intersection, so there is always a lot of noise from the cars and bikes waiting at the light. We spend our time here with measuring tapes and sewing machines. The floor is usually covered in small scraps of fabric by the end of the day. We try to sweep up, but more always appears. It is a small shop. We have some stools for people to sit on while they wait or talk about what they need fixed. The light in here is okay, though we added some extra bulbs so we can see the stitches clearly. Being in Satellite is convenient because everything is close by. We see the same faces walking past every morning. Sometimes we stand near the door just to get some fresh air. It is a steady pace of work. We do not rush things because clothes need to be done right. If a machine breaks down, it is a bad day, but usually, things run smooth enough. We have lived and worked around here for years. It is just a normal tailoring shop where we do our best with the fabric people bring in. It is not a fancy boutique, just a place for clothes and repairs. We keep things simple and focus on the sewing.
