R K Egg Eatery

We set up our shop in Paldi, which is right opposite Tagore Hall and quite near the NID campus. This part of Ahmedabad is always full of energy, especially with all the students walking around. We focus on making egg dishes of all different kinds. It is a small place, nothing too fancy to look at, just a couple of counters and the constant sound of eggs cracking on the tawa all evening. We have been here for a while now, and we recognize a lot of the same faces every single night. The menu is mostly made up of things we have experimented with over the years behind the stove. Some people stop by for a very quick bite, while others like to hang around and chat with us while we are cooking their order. It can get pretty smoky when the tawa is really hot, but that is all part of the experience here. We are not trying to be a fine dining restaurant or anything like that. It is just honest food for people who really like eggs. My brother helps me out, and we usually don't close the shutters until very late at night. The 380007 area is a good place for a business like ours. We just keep the eggs fresh and the spices ready to go. Sometimes we run out of bread before we run out of eggs. It is a simple business, and we just work hard to keep it going.
