Precision Bearings Private Limited

We’re out in Changodar at the industrial estate, specifically 26-A-B. It’s a bit of a drive out towards Sanand from the main city, but this is where all the actual manufacturing happens. Precision Bearings Private Limited has been here for a good stretch of years now. The building is a standard industrial shed like many others around here. Inside, it’s all about the machines. They make a lot of noise, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the hum of the motors. We deal with bearings, which are small but very important for machines, so we have to pay attention to what we’re doing every day. The floor is concrete and we’ve got racks reaching up to the ceiling filled with finished products. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of the lubricants and the metal dust, but we keep the actual work area as tidy as we can manage. We have a small office section where the computer and the old phone sit, but most of us spend our time out on the floor with the machines. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to the production run before the day ends. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoon and it gets pretty warm inside the shed, but we have some big fans that help. We’re just a local team doing our part in the industry.
