Prathama Creation

We are located at 418 in the Mahalaxmi Complex, which is in the Gheekanta area. Gheekanta is one of those places that is always crowded and full of energy. The complex itself has many floors and we are up on the fourth. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it, and the building is usually buzzing with the sound of other businesses. We focus on our creations here, which means there are always needles, thread, and fabric scraps lying around. It’s a working space first and foremost. We don't have a shiny storefront, just a door with our number on it. Most of our work is done on the tables inside, where we cut and piece things together. The light from the windows is good in the morning, which helps with the detailed work. We’ve been in Mahalaxmi Complex for a good stretch of time now. The other people in the building are mostly doing similar things, so there is a nice sense of being among workers. We usually grab tea from the stall downstairs twice a day. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of finished pieces waiting to go out, but we make it work. It’s a practical, no-nonsense shop where the work comes first.
