Penache Restaurant

So, we are up on the fourth floor of the Iscon Arcade Mall. It’s right on C G Road, which everyone knows gets pretty busy during the day. If you find the Body Line Cross Road, you are basically there already. Being in a mall means we see a lot of shoppers and folks just passing through on their way to something else. We started this place because we wanted to have a spot where you can sit down away from all the street noise and traffic below. It’s not a huge place, but we make it work with what we have. The kitchen is always moving, especially during the lunch hour when the office workers come in from nearby buildings. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do or why we do it. We just cook the food and bring it to your table. Some days the elevators in this building take forever to arrive, which is a bit of a pain, but once you get up here, it’s alright. We try to keep the tables wiped down and the menu simple so people don't get confused by too many choices. It’s just us running things, no big corporate office behind us. We pick up the vegetables ourselves from the market and try to keep things fresh. It's a lot of work every day, but it keeps us busy. If you are shopping around C G Road and get hungry, come up.
