Passi Mechanical Works (Regd.)

You can find us over in Phullanwal, specifically in Passi Nagar on Pakhowal Road. We’ve been registered as Passi Mechanical Works for quite some time. It’s a workshop, so there’s always the smell of oil and the sound of metal being worked on. We have lathes, drills, and all the usual tools you’d expect in a mechanical shop. Most of the guys here have grease on their hands by ten in the morning. We take on all sorts of repair jobs and some small-scale manufacturing too. People bring in broken parts and we see if we can fix them or make new ones from scratch. It’s the kind of place where you can come in and talk directly to the person doing the work. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. If you come by, you’ll probably find us around the main workbench. The floor is concrete and has seen a lot of use over the years. We take pride in just getting the machines running again. It’s satisfying to see a piece of equipment leave the shop working better than when it came in. We’ve lived in this area a long time, so we know the local rhythms. Pakhowal Road is always busy, but inside the shop, we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but it’s our second home and we enjoy the work.
