Om Prakash Bhojanalay

Our bhojanalay is located on Railway Station Road in the Sarangpur area of Ahmedabad. We are right across from the big water tank and very close to the petrol pump. Because we are so near the railway station, we get a lot of people who are coming into the city or leaving on a train. They are usually hungry and looking for a simple, home-style meal. We provide that without any fuss. The place is often busy, and the noise from the station and the traffic on the road is always there. It is a humble spot with benches and tables where you can sit down and eat. We cook the food fresh every day in our kitchen. We don't have a fancy decor or anything like that. It is just a place for food. The staff and I spend the whole day in the heat, making sure the plates are clean and the food is served hot. Sarangpur is a crowded part of Ahmedabad, and our shop fits right in with the rest of the busy street. We see a lot of different people, from laborers to office workers to travelers with their bags. We just keep our heads down and do our work, making sure there is enough food for everyone who comes in. It is a basic way to earn a living, and we have been doing it this way for a long time. There are no secrets here, just daily cooking and serving.
