Om Decoration & Caterers

Om Decoration & Caterers is located in the cellar of Vijay Complex, which is right near the main bus stand in Vasna. Being in the cellar means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice during the Ahmedabad summers. However, it also means we are constantly carrying heavy crates of catering equipment and bundles of decoration materials up and down the stairs. It is hard work on the back, but we are used to it by now. The area around the bus stand is always buzzing with travelers and people rushing to catch their rides. We spend a lot of our time organizing schedules for weddings and local functions. Our kitchen setup for the catering side of things is usually very busy, especially during the marriage season. We have big pots and pans that take up a lot of room. The Vijay Complex is a well-known spot, so people find us easily enough even though we are below the ground level. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people just know us from the work we have done for their neighbors or family members over the years. It is a family-style operation where everyone chips in when a big order comes through. We just focus on getting the food right and making sure the decorations are tied up properly at the venue.
