Gayatri Engineering Works

You’ll find us at the Anukul Estate in Odhav. We are at number 16, right near that big National Water Tank. If you’re familiar with the Ambika Nagar Road area, we aren’t hard to spot. The workshop is always full of the sound of metal being cut and welded. It’s a typical engineering shop—oily floors, stacks of iron rods, and the smell of grease everywhere. We started this place because we liked fixing things and making parts that actually last. There isn't a single computer in the main workshop area, just heavy machines and tools that have been with us for years. My clothes usually have a few holes from sparks, and my hands are rarely clean, but that’s the nature of engineering. We don't have a sales team or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people in the Odhav industrial belt who know we can handle their repairs or custom fabrications. During the monsoon, the road outside gets a bit muddy, but the work inside never stops. We have a small crew of guys who are good with their hands and don’t mind the heat or the noise. We take our time with each job to make sure it’s done right. It’s a simple life, focused on machines and measurements, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. People just stop by when they need something welded or machined, and we get to it.
