Ambica Engineering

Our workshop is at Plot No. 18 in the Hariom Estate, right near Umiya Estate. It’s an easy place to find once you get into the industrial zone. Ambica Engineering is basically just a bunch of us working with metal and machines every day. We’ve got the grinders, the drills, and the welding kits scattered around the floor. It’s not a showroom, it’s a place where things get built and fixed by hand. We start early, usually before the sun gets too hot, and we work until the job is finished. The Hariom Estate is a tight-knit community of workshops, so we know most of the people on our street. We often share a cup of tea in the afternoon while we wait for the power to come back or for a part to arrive from a supplier. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just take the drawings we are given and try to make them into real parts that work. Sometimes the machines act up and we spend half the day fixing them instead of working, which is just how it goes in this line of work. The office is just a tiny room with a computer and a few old chairs that have seen better days. We aren't here to impress anyone with a fancy building. We just want to do a decent job and head home to our families at the end of the day.
