Our place is over at 330 Shree Krushna Ind. Estate, right across from the Palm Hotel on the Ring Road. If you know the Odhav area, you know it's always packed with traffic and dust. We deal with hydromatics, which basically means a lot of oil, metal parts, and loud machines. It’s a dirty job, but someone has to do it. The shop floor is usually covered in tools and spare parts because we always have something apart for fixing. We started small, just a couple of benches and a lathe. Now we have a bit more space, but it still feels cramped when we have big units in for repair. The guys here have greasy hands most of the day, but they know how these systems work inside out. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone under a machine or looking at a blueprint. We get our lunch from the stalls nearby and usually eat while talking about the next job. It's not a corporate office by any means. It’s just a workshop where we get things done. The Ring Road is always noisy, but we’re used to it. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. If you need something fixed or a part made, we're usually around until late evening. There is always a pile of scrap metal in the corner waiting to be cleared out, but we eventually get to it.
