Shree Sai Marbles & Granites

We set up here on Bopal-Ghuma Road a while ago. If you go past the Ghuma bus stand, you’ll see our yard. It stays pretty busy with trucks coming in and out. Mostly we deal with heavy marble slabs and granite for people building houses around here. It gets dusty, but that is how a stone yard is. Every morning we move pieces around so people can see the patterns in the natural light. Sometimes it is hard to keep everything clean because of the traffic on the road, but we try our bit. Most of the people who stop by are locals who are tired of looking at catalogs and just want to touch the actual stone. We have been here for a good bit now and everyone knows the spot. It is just a regular place where we work with our hands and keep track of the stock. Some days are quiet and we just spend time organizing the smaller off-cuts. Other days, it feels like everyone in the neighborhood decided to fix their kitchen at once. We don't do anything fancy, just keep the slabs ready and help people load them up. It is honest work and the stones are heavy, so it keeps us moving. You get used to the noise from the bus stand after a while. It’s just how things go here at Shree Sai Marbles & Granites.
