Navdurga Engineers

We are located at A/10 in Shree Chamundanagar, which is tucked right behind the Lal Bahadur Shashtri Stadium in Bapunagar. If there is a match or a practice session going on, we can hear the crowds and the whistles from inside our shop. It is a bit of a crowded area with a lot of houses and small businesses all pushed together. Our shop is not very big, but it fits the machines we need for the engineering work we do. Most of the day is spent handling iron and steel. My hands are usually stained with grease and dirt by the time ten in the morning rolls around. We have a small tub for washing up but it never quite gets everything off. People walking to the stadium sometimes peer into the shop to see what the noise is about. We don't mind. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when the sun is hitting the street outside. We have a couple of old fans that rattle a lot but they help with the heat. It is a regular neighborhood shop where people bring in broken parts or ask us to weld something back together. Sometimes the work is slow and we just sit outside on the bench for a bit. Other days we are working late into the evening because there is too much to finish. It is just steady work here in Bapunagar.
