Padmvati Traders

You can find Padmvati Traders at the Madhuvan Shopping Center in Naroda. We are right by Sharusat Society and across from Pulin Vibhag-2. It is a busy little corner of the world. We have been in this shop for many years now. We sell a bit of everything, mostly items for the house or small hardware bits that people need in a hurry. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, so we have to use a ladder a lot. It is a bit dusty in here, but we know where everything is kept. My sister's son helps me out in the afternoons after his classes. Naroda is a loud place with lots of trucks and scooters going past all day. We start our day early, usually before the sun gets too hot, because that is when the local workers stop by for supplies. We do not have any fancy displays or bright lights. The floor is just plain concrete and we have an old fan that wobbles a bit. People come here to buy what they need and often stay for a quick chat about the neighborhood. We do not do any fancy marketing. We just keep the shop open and make sure we have enough stock. If we run out of something, we try to get it in by the next day. It is a simple life and we are happy with it.
