My Tandoor Restaurant

If you know Jamalpur in Ahmedabad, you know how hectic Gol Limda gets on a daily basis. Our place, My Tandoor Restaurant, is right there in the thick of it, just across from Samir Complex. We’ve been part of this Nadiadwad area for a bit now and we like the energy. The tandoor stays hot all day because that’s the main thing we do here. You can usually smell the smoke and the fresh bread from the street before you even see our sign. It’s a busy spot, and we don’t have much time for fancy talk or complicated menus. We just focus on the fire and the dough. Most of our regulars are people working nearby or folks heading home through the busy lanes. The building isn't new, and the walls have seen a lot of years go by, but it feels right for what we do. We start early prepping the coal and getting the meat ready for the evening. It's not a quiet place, especially in the late hours when everyone is out on the street. We don’t bother with big ads or anything like that. People just know where we are by word of mouth. Sometimes the traffic outside is a total nightmare, but once you’re inside with a hot plate of food, it doesn't matter much. It’s just a local eatery doing things the old way in a very old part of town.
