Mayur Restaurant

My family and I run Mayur Restaurant over in Naroda Bazar. We are located at shop number 10 and 11, which is right across from the Fuvara. It is a very busy market area, so we get a lot of people who are out shopping or local guys working in the shops coming in for a quick meal. We have to open up quite early in the morning to get the stoves lit and start chopping all the vegetables for the day. The restaurant isn't very large, just some simple tables and chairs we have arranged to fit as many people as possible. We don't have a menu with pretty pictures or anything like that, just a board on the wall that shows what we have cooking. The kitchen is small and it gets very hot in there during the afternoon rush. I usually sit by the cash box while my brothers handle the serving and help with the cooking. We have a lot of regular customers who come in every single day. They don't even need to look at the board; they just sit down and wait for their usual plate. Sometimes the ceiling fans make a bit of a rattling noise, and the walls could probably use some new paint, but the food is why people keep coming back. We don't use any special tricks, just fresh stuff we buy from the market nearby every morning. It is a lot of work, but it's okay.
