Maruthi Granites

Our yard at Maruthi Granites is located at 23, Ayyappa Garden, which is right off the main Bannerghatta Road. We are pretty easy to find if you know where the Mico Back Gate is in the Adugodi Post area. It is a busy spot with trucks constantly moving in and out of the gate. Being in the granite business means we spend our days surrounded by heavy stone slabs and the loud sound of cutting tools. The ground is almost always covered in a thin layer of stone dust, and the air smells like wet rock when we are working. We keep a lot of different colors and patterns leaning against the walls, which can make the yard feel like a bit of a maze if you aren't careful where you walk. It is physical work, shifting these massive pieces around so people can get a good look at the grain and the finish. We are just a small group of people running the whole operation. Sometimes the sun beats down on the yard and makes the stone very hot to the touch, but we just keep at it until the job is done. Customers usually come by with their own tape measures and rough sketches, trying to figure out what will look right in their homes. We don't have a big sales pitch for anyone. We just show them what is in stock and let the stone speak for itself.
