Maheshwari Marbles

If you are looking for Maheshwari Marbles, we are in Keshar Nagar, right in Gota Gam. We are directly opposite the Khodiyar Temple on Gota Road. It’s a busy spot and there are always people around the temple, especially on festival days. We have a lot of stone and marble sitting out in our yard for people to see. It’s heavy work, moving those big slabs around with the crane or by hand. We get dusty and the noise of the stone cutters is pretty constant during the day. We aren't a big showroom with air conditioning, glass doors, and fancy lights. We just have our stock and we show people what we have available in the stacks. Most of the time, we are just helping customers figure out how much they need for their floors or kitchen counters. It’s a straightforward business. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the Gota neighborhood over the years, with new buildings going up everywhere, but we’ve stayed right here. We don't do much in terms of marketing or flyers. People usually just see our sign while driving by or hear about us from their neighbors. We just try to give people a fair price and make sure the stone is cut the way they asked. It’s hard on the back, but it’s good work. We like being part of the local area and seeing the finished houses that use our stone. It’s a good feeling.
