Maharshi Dhaba

You can find our dhaba over in Thaltej at the Newyork Tower. We have space on both the ground floor and the fifth floor, which is a bit of an unusual setup for a dhaba, but it works for us. We’re right opposite the Jain Derasar and very close to the Thaltej Cross Roads. This part of the 380054 area is always buzzing with cars and people. We started this place because we wanted to serve the kind of food we like to eat. It’s not a white-tablecloth kind of place; it’s a dhaba through and through. We use simple ingredients and don't try to get too creative with things. Most of the time, we're busy managing the orders coming in from the street level while also looking after the upper floor. It gets a bit hectic when the cross roads are jammed, but we've gotten used to the noise. We aren't some big food corporation. We are just a local shop, number 4/2 to be exact. We handle the cooking, the cleaning, and the serving ourselves. People come here because they want something filling and they know where we are. It’s a handy spot if you're around Thaltej and need a meal. We just do our best to keep things clean and keep the kitchen moving. It’s a decent living and we enjoy being right in the middle of everything. We've been here for a while and plan to stay for much longer.
