Mahalaxmi Granite & Marble

You can find us in Vejalpur, right near Sonal Cinema and the Gota Cross Road. This area has grown so much lately. Mahalaxmi Granite & Marble sits right where all the action is. The traffic at the cross road is something else, especially in the evenings. We’ve got our granite and marble pieces lined up so people can see them as they drive by. It’s a busy spot. We spend a lot of time just cleaning off the grime that settles on the slabs from the road. Sonal Cinema is the best landmark for us; everyone knows where that is. We aren't a big corporate chain. We’re just a local business trying to keep things moving. We have different types of stone coming in all the time. Sometimes we get a really nice batch of granite that everyone wants, and other times it’s more basic stuff for simple floors. We don't have a lot of fancy office space. Most of our business happens right there on the pavement or in the middle of the yard. It’s loud, it’s a bit chaotic with the bikes and cars zooming past, but we’ve gotten used to it. We just keep our heads down and work. If someone stops their car and wants to look, we’re there to show them what’s in the back. We just take it one day at a time here and hope the rain doesn't slow us down too much.
