Mahalakshmi Trading

We run Mahalakshmi Trading out of shop 14 in the Shivaji Complex. You can find us on Canal Road in the Ghodasar area, not too far from the Smruti Mandir. It’s a decent area for a trading business because there is enough space for moving goods around. We handle a variety of items depending on what’s in demand. The Shivaji Complex is a busy little hub, and there’s always something going on with the neighboring shops. Our work involves a lot of lifting, counting stock, and keeping track of what’s going out on the delivery vans. We aren't into big corporate branding; we just have our name on the door and our goods on the shelves. Canal Road can get quite dusty, especially in the summer, but we just keep the shutters up and keep working. Sometimes customers come in looking for specific parts or materials, and we do our best to find them in the back. It’s a basic operation. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or lighting. It’s more about having the right stock at the right time. Being near Smruti Mandir makes it easy to give people directions. Most of our days are spent checking invoices and making sure the supplies are handled correctly. It’s steady work and we’ve been at it for a good amount of time now.
