M M Intercontinental Restaurant & Parotha House

You can find M M Intercontinental Restaurant & Parotha House over in Paldi. We are at 16 Span Trade Centre on the ground floor. It’s right across from the Kochrab Ashram, which is a big landmark around here. We make a lot of parothas every day. The kitchen is always warm because the tawas are going from morning till night. It’s not a very big place, just enough tables for people to sit and eat their meal. The Span Trade Centre is usually busy with people coming and going from other offices. We see a lot of the same faces every week. Some people come in for a quick lunch, others take their time. The 380007 area in Ahmedabad is quite lively. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the menu and some chairs. My uncle started this place and we just keep it going the same way. The parothas are the main thing people ask for. We try to keep the floors clean, but with so many people walking in from the street, it's a constant job. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening if it’s been a busy day. We don't use a computer for orders, just a notepad and a pen. It's how we’ve always done it. If you’re near the Ashram, you can usually smell the food cooking from the street. It’s just a simple, local place to get something to eat.
