Live The Restaurant

If you walk through the Khani Pini Bazar near Law Garden, you will find us right in the middle of all that activity. Ahmedabad is always lively, especially around the food market area by Ellis Bridge. Our restaurant is a place where people stop in after they have been walking around the bazaar. We have tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The floor is simple tile and we spend a lot of time sweeping up the dust that blows in from the street. It gets crowded in the evenings when the lights come on outside and everyone starts looking for a place to eat. The kitchen stays busy with the sound of knives hitting cutting boards and the smell of spices in the air. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure people get fed. The 380006 area is known for food, so there is always competition and noise. Sometimes the power flickers or the water delivery is late, but we just deal with those things as they happen. It’s a practical place for a meal without any extra fluff. We know our regulars by sight and usually know what they are going to order before they even sit down. The Law Garden area is loud and messy, and we fit right into that local rhythm every single day. We keep the lights bright so people can see us from across the street.
