Limbu Soda Shop

Our shop is number 13 in the Krish Residency-14 complex. We are right on the Nikol Naroda Road in Nikol. It’s a busy street, and being near Deepak School means we get a lot of noise when the kids are out for their breaks or heading home. We spend a lot of time every day just prepping the lemons and making sure everything is clean. The soda machine is the heart of the place, and we have to keep it running right, which sometimes means a bit of fixing here and there. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be smart about where we put the crates and the ice. It gets really busy in the summer months. Sometimes it feels like we can't squeeze the lemons fast enough. During the rainy season, things slow down a lot and we spend more time just sitting and talking with the other shop owners in the residency. It’s a good community here. We all look out for each other’s places. My nephew helps out in the evenings after his classes are done. We don't have any big marketing plans; we just open the shutter in the morning and wait for the regulars to show up. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year.
