Kasturi Dining Hall

You can find Kasturi Dining Hall on the first floor of the Netra Palace Hotel Building in Paldi, Ahmedabad. We are right near the Paldi Cross Road, which is one of the busiest spots in this part of the city. We’ve been serving meals here for a long time, and we have seen the area change quite a bit. It’s a dining hall, so the whole idea is for people to come in, sit down, and have a proper meal. We don't do anything fancy with the decor; it’s mostly just rows of tables and chairs. We focus on the food and making sure the plates are clean. The kitchen is always a busy place, especially around noon when the office workers from around Paldi start showing up. It gets pretty loud with the clattering of plates and people talking, but we like it that way. My family helps run the place, and we are usually here from early morning until we close up late at night. The climb up to the first floor keeps us moving, and we are always running back and forth with trays. Being near the cross road means there is always the sound of horns and buses outside, but once you’re inside and eating, you don’t notice it as much. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are and what we do.
