Located at 248 New Cloth Market on the first floor, we’ve been running things here for quite some time now. Being outside Raipur Gate means it gets pretty hectic with all the traffic and people moving around throughout the day. The stairs up to our place are a bit steep and sometimes they are blocked by bundles of cloth or people waiting. Inside it isn't much to look at, just a lot of shelves and some old desks where we do our bookkeeping. We trade in various goods and the market vibe is always there, even with the dust and the constant noise from the street below. We don’t have any fancy slogans or a big marketing team. It’s just a couple of us handling the daily orders and making sure the stock is where it needs to be. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the other shop owners nearby about the trade. It’s a simple business. We open early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. People know us for being around and just doing what we say we will. If you need to find us, look for the sign near the Raipur Gate entrance. It's a busy life but it keeps us going every day without much fuss or drama.
