Jungle Bhookh Restaurant

You can find us at Wall Street-I, right across from the Orient Club and near Gujarat College in Ellisbridge. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, and we get a lot of students and office people coming through. The restaurant is on the first floor, which gives us a bit of a view of the street below. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise from the traffic anymore. The space inside Jungle Bhookh Restaurant is filled with a lot of green stuff and decorations to fit the name, but it’s mostly just for fun. We put a lot of effort into the daily tasks that people don’t see, like cleaning the filters and organizing the pantry. It is a lot of work to keep a restaurant going in such a high-traffic area. We don't have a PR team or anyone writing fancy scripts for us. We just handle the customers as they come and try to keep the kitchen running smoothly. The tables are sturdy, and the chairs are meant for sitting, not for looking at in a magazine. We open up in the morning and stay until the last customer leaves at night. It is a basic routine of cooking, serving, and cleaning up. We are just a local team doing our best in a busy city.
